The Role: 

We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Band 6 or 7 (Podiatrist to join our dynamic team. You will need to perform home visits, manage foot wounds and HR diabetic caseload.  
This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions for a diverse patient demographic. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and promote patient health and mobility. 

  • Work location: across Shropshire, England 

  • Hours: 08:50-16:50, Monday to Friday 

  • Pay rate: £24.00 

  • Preferably Rio trained (the electronic patient records (EPR) system) 

  • Ideally have Enhanced Compliance clearance, to be fit for NHS roles 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct thorough assessments of the foot and lower limb conditions. 

  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on evidence-based practice. 

  • Perform routine podiatric care, including nail surgery and biomechanical assessments. 

  • Provide advice and education to patients on foot health and preventative care. 

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. 

Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Podiatry from a recognised institution. 

  • Experience in a similar role at a Band 6 or 7 level is preferred. 

  • Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
