CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) 

CAMHS nurses offer holistic assessment of young people with mental health issues, and their families, and provide short-and long-term treatment either in a clinical setting or in another location suitable for a patients needs. 

Nurses have additional training in issues related to working with young people - for example, family therapy training, cognitive behavior therapy, or training in solution-focused approaches to treatment, or in psychodynamic approaches to treatment. 

CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) consist out of a team: Psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, support workers, occupational therapist, psychological therapists, education mental health practitioners, children’s wellbeing practitioners, specialist substance misuse workers. 

If you are interested in undertaking roles as part of CAMHS. Minimum requirements to work with Grosvenor Nursing:  

  • Minimum six months experience in Mental Health setting  

  • Right to work in the UK 

  • Enhanced DBS  

  • Clinical references  

  • Valid NMC Pin
